Sorry to say, that I havent heard of cmsmadsimple yet.

They do have an interesting version numbering f.e
Version 0.13 as of 18th May 2006
Version 1.0 beta as of 27th July 2006
etc.

, but that doesnt mean that they are not good.

I never worked with this script and I can't tell bad things about it , however there are many scripts that have the same functionality , but more frequently updates , more modules available and themes offcource.
