Hello

I want to sell .co.uk and .com domains and for that I need a reseller account.
Please suggest. I am looking for a company with following:

1. Offers a reseller account
2. Deals in both .co.uk and .com
3. Provides private Label domain reselling
4. I want a control panel for my self as well as for my customers

enom doesn't support .co.uk or do they?
because on their website .co.uk is not mentioned but other UK domains are mentioned like .uk.com .uk.net

I am confused because when they can support .uk.com then why not .co.uk? is there a difference between the two?

I have a few questions regarding enom, may be someone can answer. I have also sent an email to them but they may not reply quickly so asking here.

Q1. Do they offer .co.uk, .net.uk and .org.uk domains? Because I went to this page http://www.enom.com/help/faq_tlds.asp (http://www.enom.com/help/faq_tlds.asp) and couldn't find these domains.

Q2. I am interested in ALTERNATIVE plan in SILVER package but pricing is a little confusing. It says we need $195 to open account. Is this amount paid yearly or monthly or one time? Is there any other one time fee as mentioned on this page http://www.enom.com/pricing.asp#reseller (http://www.enom.com/pricing.asp#reseller)

Q3. Will I get my own nameservers like ns1.mywebsite.com? Is there any extra fee for that?

Q4. Where can I see complete list of price for each TLD in ALTERNATIVE plan?

Thanks

@Q1
yes they offer co.uk ! Just go to REGISTER DOMAIN and select the TLD from the dropdown menu

@Q2
the fee is a one-time which gets to your account. So if you pay 195$ you can register domains for 195$ ... refilling of the enom account is always possible with at least 100$ per transaction (beware of the 3% transaction fee they charge if you recharge your account with credit card)

@Q3
no. you can use enoms DNS servers which are good and nearly anonymous. they are called DNS1-DNS5.NAME-SERVICES.COM so your customers won't recognize normally that you're using enoms DNS ;-)

@Q4
http://www.enom.com/pricing.asp#reseller
but I think someone else can post the other prices for the other TLDs

uk.com is not a UK domain. It's a .com domain just like webhostingtalk.com or amazon.com or ebay.com. Someone is selling sub-domains under .uk.com, and is marketing them in the UK as an alternative to .co.uk, but that's just a marketing ploy. Same for uk.net and all the other "pretend TLDs" listed in the other post such as ru.com and se.net

Thanks atmike for you detailed reply. It cleared a lot of questions in my mind. Just one last question. You said I can use Enom own nameservers like DNS1-DNS5.NAME-SERVICES.COM but wouldn't someone found about it when he checks the WHOIS of that domain?
I mean if I use these nameservers in my domain and if someone checks WHOIS, he/she can easily see that i m using enom nameservers?

@Lubeca
hmm.....clever marketing....I didn't know that! thanks

yes that's always possible... but anyway, WHO does this ? I always stay with the oppinion that if someone can check and realise this he is either a very good IT professional and could easily host his stuff hisself or he'S bored...
don't worry too much about that.
I use enoms dns since years and no one ever bothered me about enom dns service or anything...

I would look at opensrs. The API seems heavy but they support many more international extensions
