Hello,

I want to investigate the possibility of reselling off site backup space. Can someone please point me to a company that has a reseller aspect to it. Or if someone has any advise about this please speak up.

Cheers and Thanks

I think it depends on how you want to do this?

Offer the space? Service? or both?

There are a few backup space providers out there that you can search google for and also get some recommendations from others here as well.

I know this is not something very big in everyones mind, to be able to offer a solution to people you will need to have the right scalable solution in place. At any rate I have seen a few people mention bqinternet and gnax however as far as a reseller perspective I have not seen too many. I would be interested in those as well.

Data Deposit Box has a reseller program, we currently use them and they offer great rates for data backup!

I'd link you to them directly but apparently as a new user I am not allowed to, but you can find them at their website and under their "Partner Program" they have some reseller information.

Do they also allow you to backup servers that are not windows?

Hey, bqbackup.com can setup a reseller account all you need to do is contact them and it may take about 2-3 days for them to set it up but.

As far as I can tell, no. They have a client side program that is only an .exe as far as I can tell. It runs as a windows service.
