View Full Version : Layered Tech Server @ Your Offer

Well, purchased this server a while ago for a client that needed hosting for his Counter Strike: Source servers. Unfortunately now he has decided to cancel (and also not pay me for the services, as he has blocked his bank account from PayPal transactions, and the E-Check that was supposed to come failed, PayPal says they can't do anything about it) so now I'm stuck with the server that I am now forced to pay for until the 27th of next month. If someone wants to purchase this server I'll be glad to let it go cheap, but you will have to pay the full amount once the server is transferred to you on the next month thereafter, otherwise I have to cancel it and sit with a server box I cannot use.

I paid $118.30 for this machine, but I'll take the highest bidder's offer.

The machine's specs are as follows.

P4 3.0Ghz Machine
1024MB memory
160GB SATA hard drive
CentOS 4.X (can be reloaded for $25 if you really want the server wiped)
100mbit port speed
1000GB bandwidth (Minimal used on this month)

So I'm hoping someone needs the box. You can email me at admin@pdclan.com or PM me if you have any questions about the box.

Thanks for looking.

Just a quick note that I forgot to add as I can't edit my post.

You also must agree to LayeredTech's server transfer method if you want to keep the server after the first month.

Is this a box at LayeredTech that you installed your own Game Server Software on or did you get it from Layeredx?

does it come with Cpanel or some other panel

The game panel used is not LayeredX, it was a totally separate panel run from my webserver to manage his services.

No, the server does not come with any panel, though it can be added for an extra fee monthly through LayeredTech.

I got an offer of $50 for it externally. If no one else goes higher within the next few days he will get it.

Hi,

When is the server due for renewal please?

OP said...

I am now forced to pay for until the 27th of next month

So my guess is renewal would be on the 28th of Dec.

Someone's offered $52, strange...but yeah. I'm getting rid of it tomorrow at the highest bid I guess. I'd like any future offers to be put on the forums instead of sent to my email address. The highest person will be decided upon at 10:00PM CST (-6 GMT)...so at that time I will email/PM the person who has won. Failure to pay will result in the offer going to the next highest bidder.

Thanks.
