Don't forget Dantis - around $90 million. Closed operations in May 2001... had two floors in a downtown Chicago skyscraper... close to 200 employees I think. Was looking to compete with Loudcloud, Digex.

No problem! I found all of those listed now through a sweep on IPO.com, but clearly I missed a lot!

It'll be interesting to see just how much money VC's have pumped into web hosting... But, as far as I've seen lately all of the action is coming from the non-VC-backed companies such as Communitech.Net, Interland (they're public, but as far as I'm aware they never had a dollar of VC -- I'll be sure to verify this) and a few other notable key players.
