I've just got hold of a 6.95 Enom reseller account and have created a sub-account as a retail only account.
First thing that surpised me was that you can't set the pricing on country specific domains especially .co.uk domains which are what I deal with most. At reseller level they're set at 5.99 for registration and renewal and 6.99 for transfer.
When I login to the test retail account I have made, pricing looks really weird.
co.uk * $7.99 for registration
$14.99 for renewal
$18.99 for transfer
I realise .uk need two years registration which should explain the renewal fee of 14.99 but where does the 18.99 come from?
When you read the FAQ it says that transfer fees vary depending on how much time is left remaining on UK domains but it fails to explain where the 18.99 comes from.
I understand support at enom is closed today for Thanksgiving so I wondered if any other enom resellers get the same strange pricing?
I am supposed to be just 1 level under my ETP.

Any other explanations would also be most welcome.

Anyone? I can't really help since I'm not familiar with .co.uk domains. But I do think that when you create retail sub-accounts, then the .coms are fixed at $8.95 (this is what I understand, I'm not actually a reseller with experience of such). Can't help with the transfer pricing either.

can you change the price in My Setting -> TLD pricing?
if not, here's probably what happened,
since you have a subreseller account ($6.95) not an ETP, this account was created before enom policy of $8.95 lowest sub reseller account creation in effect. Therefore, the ETP probably created the account with that prices at that time, and it can't be changed anymore, some $6.95 sub reseler account in the market has different pricing on different TLDs, they're all depend on what the ETP created in the past. Your ETP probably setup that weird prices in the past, $6.95 domain registration on some TLDs but with weird prices on .uk TLDs.
ask the ETP for their pricing list before you buy a subreseller $6.95 account, next time...

FYI, the lowest .co.uk registration is $5.99/yr
I've seen some $6.95 reseller account with that pricing setup

If that's the case, there is nothing you can do...

the price inside the retail account may include the credit card fees.

UK domains don't even show in the list under TLD pricing so I think you may be onto something.
This whole situation with reseller accounts at enom seems a bit torturous and it looks like I've landed myself an account that's nearly useless for what I need. Only cost 199 bucks so I'm happy!
That was me being sarcastic by the way!
Thanks for the explanation liandra.

I believe the co.uk domains show up only if you go to >> Settings>>TLD pricing and choose 2 Year

you must choose 2 years, then you can see what's your cost there ($$ you pay to enom). You CANNOT set retailer prices below than $8.15/yr for all your retailer.
You were saying you can set it up for $7.99/yr, and that's impossible..

Thank you both liandra and valentin_nils for your help. That fixed it!
I have now been able to correct the weird pricing in my account. Didn't think to check the two year column.

Now I am getting an error message when I try to change the retail price.
co.uk: Register Parent account must have a price set for same number of years for this product.
Any ideas on that one?
Many thanks again for you guidance.

I think this is a bug in eNom system. That error mean you have to adjust the price for the 1 year price list. And since .co.uk doesn't show up in 1 year list, it doesn't work.

Any idea on this? I submitted a ticket to eNom regarding this, and waiting for the response.
