Hey,
I have a raq3 with a admin tool.
It shows the bandwidth usage (with bars)
After checking it and seeing it reached 700 megs i was happy because i thought it was the total usage and i expected to use way more.
After some clear thinking: 3k daily traffic, guests, many members, pics, movies.. I thought how the hell can that be 700 megs total, Thats the daily transfer ofcourse.
January past by and when i checked it early this week its showed the usage of january: not even 1 gig!
I just dont get it, is that the average daily or the total usage?
I mailed 4webspace and it still isnt clear since the guy didnt know it for sure :(
Anybody?
Thanks

battus, I'd throw webalizer on the machine. I never had much luck with the cobalt stats myself.

How much room do those webalizer stats take up per site?

Set the site to 155Kbps for limit of approx. 50gb/mo. Personally, if they went over, I'd just charge 'em. :)

will that also restrict the speed at which someone downloads something off the vsite? if they had a 5 meg mp3 for example, will it limit the downloading to 155 Kpbs? If 2 users downloading, cut that in half?

In theory it limits the site to that speed. Really I don't use it and never really took any time to figure out how it limits things, cuts off a site using too much, etc. The mailing list might have some better 'user experiences' so to speak.
