View Full Version : Win 2000 Server Problem With Port 80

Hello,
my friend has a dedicated with win 2000 server and he is having problem , the problem is that port 80 doesnt work , he can add sites on other ports , but port 80 just dont work .

i'll be glad is someone can give me a direction how can this be solved

How does it 'not work', does nothing show up, or does it show an incorrect website?

If it is the latter, I'd guess that it is a problem with how the 'virtual hosts' / 'host headers' have been setup.

If his "server" is at home, then his ISP blocked port 80.

ok , we found the problem he had , he just doesnt know how to handle a server well , i dont know NT .
from what he told me it was bad configured hosting account .

the server isnt at his home , its colocated .
