Anyone know what's happening on the net? Both NetSol and NamePros have been unreacheable for at least 5 hours (for me). Even WHT, I couldn't reach for a couple of hours?

I just got this from NamePros...

Server died. Sorry! :(

NamePros.com is temporarily offline while we move to a new server.

No data has been lost. We'll be back as soon as possible.

Contact rj <at> namepros.com if you need anything urgently!

As it looks, at least half of the Internet was on and off (at least for me) the whole day yesterday. I tracked this down to Level3 problems somewhere in their NYC backbone...

WHT has been buggy tonight. I get intermitant "cannot connect" messages.

I see NetworkSolutions and SRSPlus are STILL down :(

Up and running for me, like never before. NetSol has changed their design and pageload is perhaps 10 times faster.

It's still not working here for me :( Luckily for me I don't have any domains there :)

I never had a big problem with the NetSol control panel. But 10 times faster is a good thing :) I hope the design change was for the better?

Both websites from netsol and namepros are working fine for me, stu.

Clear cache-close browser thing help? You asked your ISP if they have any luck?

Namepros working for me also. Netsol and SRSPlus are still down for me, even after clearing cache. But as I said, it ain't critical to me, so I don't feel like going thru any difficult explanations with the support staff at my isp ;)

Have you tried to do a traceroute from you to these? It usually helps in network diagnostics...

So busy that you're hanging at WHT all day long? ;)

Hehe. I've been so busy, that my only means of relation is to take a break every couple of hours and to visit my favorite forum for a few minutes :) It's true :) Any other time is spent sleeping between 3-5hrs a day.

It's not as easy for me as you think. My os doesn't have any tracert command. In order to perform a tracert, I'd have to boot to windows or linux, which are both fairly unfamiliar territory for me. This, I haven't been inclined to do just to figure out why NetSol is down for me. I don't have either the interest or motivation to do so. Incidentally, it's still down :(

I'm getting out of the house for the first time in a week. Going to play some darts and drink some beer. Wish me luck :) Disclaimer...I'm not responsible for any of my posts in the next 24 hours :) Well that's true every Wednesday :)
