Hi,

I'm a web developer who would like to start developing templates to supplement my income when I'm not doing "proper" work!

I was wondering though what a template involves - I see so many people showing off jpegs of site designs, but what does the purchaser actually expect to get?

Just the Fireworks / PSD files?
The HTML? (to what extent? fully working site or just "laid out" for someone to insert links etc?)
Additional Pages?
Customised for purchaser?

I would be very grateful if someone could let me know how it generally works.

It would vary a lot of the time.......and often you could work with the customer as to the exact extent of what they want........

but if I was to sell a template, I would sell it in HTML format, with everything there, ready to have the content filled in........and most customers would probably prefer that, as they probably dont want to dabble with any PNG or PSD files........

ANY format Other than HTML, I wouldn't even bother with :uzi: :erm:
