DAMN, we lost against Brazil..... It was a good match, the ref was obviously on our side, and we still lost :(

It is a sad day fo England supporters.
Our little hope was busted by Rivaldo(another award winning actor).
Even then England played a good game.

Let's give England a round of cyber applause.
*clap clap clap*

The ref was not on England's side, remember there were times when england players were fouled and he just waved play on, wheras when Brazil players like Rivaldo falling theaterically and he blew his whistle. I think the extra time given was not right, considering how much time the Brazillians wasted.

However, I think the England players did play well but the two Brazillian goals, were simply too good.

It's a learning experience, England has a young squad with many up and coming players, I think perhaps it will be their time in 4 years time.

Eeeer... I was the only one that saw Beckham thinking that he was in a pool? I mean... Two dives? Acting and trying to get a inexistent penalty?
I really think that Rivaldo didnīt need all this acting... But, come on! He wasnīt the only one trying to get an Oscar in this game!

Got to hand it to Brazil, playing very well with a man down for most of the second half. Now its USA's turn, hope they win, it should be 7:25 am est for the game, they generally always start at x:25

Oh btw, some one is screwing up. I woke up at about 2 to watch the game, go down to channel 34, espn, see on the tvguide screen part that this is the channel for world cup, I wait, and wait(I knew it was halftime from the computer, but all they were talking about was baseball). So finally, I check the other channels, and I click to speed skateing or something, inline mabey, and there is the game, 10 minutes into the second half :(

Was anyone not disappointed by Seaman? I have to say... what the hell was he looking at. I think at 38 now, maybe he should think about calling it a day and taking retirement.

If you want to do it right, you have to do it by yourself. Go Brazil! :)

Now, without england, world cup will be more enjoyable to watch :)

Seaman hurt his back near the end of the first half, I dont think he expected Ronaldhino to try and score from that distance. To be perfectly honest I dont think he was trying to score. I think Seaman didn't really try

a) because of his back
b) the whole thing was a surprise.

having said that, it was a soft goal to concede. But.... as I supported Germany (i live in England and am English btw), it was sweet, sweet justice for the 5-1 thrashing England handed out to Germany in the qualifiers.

Well i think the ref was definatly not on Englands side! He was licking the Brazilians a*s*s all through the match. Seaman didnt loose England the game, it was a poor performance all round in the second half by England - We could of won, and we will next time, but for now its time to drown our sorrows and wish them well as its more than likely they will win the world cup. And no offence to the USA but they dont even like football, they play soccer and theres a bit of a difference.

Anyway thats my 2p for today

i think england will do well in the next euro thingy. there was a pole on aohell about the man of the match and seaman was 2nd highest behind owen. the gyus great, he didnt loose us the match, hes at his peak, not the way down. the next euro fingy will prove that. i hope to see him at the next world cup also. many congrats to brazil and germany and the usa etc. the games were great. hell i might even like football one of these days. the ireland matches were great, i loved it when duff was fouled and fell over and instead of playing up the foul was strugglin to keep the ball while on the floor, thats the spirit of football. no diving. just the will to win.
