Anyone heard anything about these guys? d3fuse 06-21-2002, 01:30 AM Nope, never heard about them. Someone else most likely has. avara 06-21-2002, 08:36 AM What's their web site address? I recommend searching for them here on WHT (see the little search button at the top?), and also searching for them on Google. chinook 06-21-2002, 06:42 PM Seeing they are a competitor of ours. We know this: they specialize in cobalt raq servers and have a very large client base. see the following article: http://ca.tophosts.com/articles/?300046.html The Thinker 06-21-2002, 09:30 PM They are a local competitor of ours....we are located in Humboldt, SK (an hour east). I would recommend them to anyone asking about them. I know some people who use their services and have not once heard a complaint about them. They have a great set-up there and their rates are comparible to many for the level of service you receive. You can PM me for more info if you want...... HellMask 06-22-2002, 12:54 PM I wonder about their support, though. They don't appear to have even a 1-800 number. You have to call long distance on your own dime. Odd, since everyone's got a toll-free number these days. It makes me wonder if they've got someone there to answer a tech question I may have at whatever hour. As for your own dime, it can function as an effective screening device to ensure tech phone support only gets real problems rather than handholding for a simple problem. Those will then go in via email/support tickets which can be handled more cheaply than via telephone. A little serious investigation, however, will reveal that they do indeed have an 800 number. HellMask 06-22-2002, 05:03 PM Hmm, their sales people told me explicitly that they don't have a 1-800 number. (Though I agree with you, it's not necessarily a deal-killer not to have it.) I haven't heard anything negative about their support, but on the other hand, I haven't heard any raving reviews about it either. I have heard that uptime and account set-up speeds are great... jks 06-22-2002, 06:21 PM In my experience - they're great!
