View Full Version : What would you be doing if there was no internet?
mlip129 06-20-2002, 07:57 PM It's funny how one thing could change the lives for so many people. Just think about it, all the people who run businesses on the net, what would they be doing right now? I spend between 6-8 hours on the net a day, what would I be doing if there was no net? Anyway, it's just a thought. :)

ned patter 06-20-2002, 10:03 PM I would also be doing alot of DJing since i think there's alot of good stuff to be made out of that, all those irish girls dancing asking for resquests and that."ye ye ye ye listen up if anyone wants me to play a song just come up to the stage" ye can i have shaggy" "alright i'll be with you in just a tick".

Bogdan 06-21-2002, 12:40 AM I would end up at the gym all day....
(yeah.... right!)
Roy@ENHOST 06-21-2002, 12:49 AM I actually love it when the internet is down.
Usually I will be stuck with the comp for 12-18 hours a day with occasional partying to break the vicious cycle.
When I am not without internet and my comp, I feel more peaceful. less humming noise by the comp. I will take the time off to think about my life in greater perspective, trying to see the big picture.
With the internet on, people tends to get very 'short-sighted' as in the mentality is always stuck on what is in front only. Thats my 2 cents worth anyway.
viGeek 06-21-2002, 03:26 AM I would problably be playing some sort of sport, keeping myself active and healthy. I used to be very active, until i discovered the internet in 1994!
Lonny 06-21-2002, 04:35 AM I'd be.. playing the guitar a lot more... maybe become a rock star :)
I would have probably continued my music career as a drummer or would have taken over the family restaurants.. no doubt, ill have those left in my hands anyways.

kevinwholder 06-21-2002, 09:44 AM not sure because if there were no internet, then there is no way I could be responding to thsi thread and no way to know it existed and also would not have a job because that is what the company is massively involved in. hmm... that would just plain ole suck.. OMG.. I jsut realized that I may still ACTUALLY be using a "typewriter".. Sorry,, I know it hurts but had to say the word..

Well, aside from the pre-historic 100 ft Alligators that occassionally reside in underwater caves, you gotta figure there is less danger involved in underwater cave diving than there is in above ground cave diving :D.
