FYI.... I don't know when it was officially released in the UK (so apologies if this is 'old' news), but I only found out today - this is going to make a lot of my clients with shops very happy - they've been screaming for this for ages.

£20/mth gives you the equivalent of a merchant account and includes virtial terminal for telephone and fax payments.

I don't think it is easier to establish in the UK than in Canada, but it probably has some advantages because by doing so PayPal would be able to offer the service throughout the EU.

The UK also has double the population of Canada but, regardless, I am ready for them to offer this in Canada as well.
