I have tried to make a search re: this company.
There have been no reviews, I check the whois.sc and the domain was created recently.
Anyone has an acct with them ?

Hi,

What do you mean by this ? Are you telling me that i am related to them ?
I am not based in the US , I am living in Manila - if you are giving me that doubt.
you can check my profile with this domain to remove that doubt -uplinkdesigns.com in WHOIS.SC

Pretty new company. Not sure if it is a sister company to citiprice because they didn't say anything in about. I am unable to access the site.

They seem to provide huge resources for cheap - 260gb of space for only 99$ per month??

It would be ok to provide such resources to single shared accounts, but resellers tend to use ALL space they purchased!

I would not trust my clients' sites to such a business plan they present.

My 2 cents.

Hi all

I too saw this company a month or two ago and communicated with them. I got responses with the 1 hour mark (not 45 minutes though), but then again, it was a Sunday :)

Anyway, I spoke to both the "standard" assistant followed by the chief technician. Both answered my questions well, especially the technician.

I also cannot find any reviews or customer comments about these people (not that I am still interested in their services).

You will notice that their middle reseller plan has a drastic decrease in ratio of storage:bandwidth compared to to the other plans they have on offer.

I am by no means saying this company is safe, but rather that their plans seem realistic enough (not totally UNREAL like some other companies I have seen).

They quoted that they have > 20 resellers (remember, I spoke to them a while ago and they only recently started). It's just a pity no one says anything about them.

Well it happens so often here....webhosts sign up themselves under other user names and write glowing reports. Thats pretty much why new posters may get questioned abit more.
What I wanted to let you know is not to judge a host if you simply cannot find reviews on them here. In fact here, "no news is good news" the majority of the time. Happy clients dont seem to routinely surf and praise their host on a daily basis! I doubt you will find many reviews at all if the co. has just been in business since July? Maybe they branched out from the sister site: Citiprice.

These would be some good pre-sales questions to send them though and then you can see how they respond.
