You mean redeMPtion, don't you?
You can check drop date at services like FreeWHO (http://freewho.com/checker/index.php).
Good luck!

Now don't make newbie's mistake to try to register it manually. Sign with the professional dropcatching companies, read the excellent thread (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=477474) by Stu and pray.
Good luck!

A domain is usually in Redemption Period for 30 days. The existing owner can still get it out of redemption by paying the registrar's Redemption Fee. After the 30 days are up it goes into a Pending Delete status for 5 days. After 5 days it will drop.
I ask again. Where is it registered?

the whois says:
Registration Service Provided By: HOSTING LMI, S.L.
Never heard of them. Sorry, I can't help.

Registration Service Provided By: HOSTING LMI, S.L.
Are the sites below them?
lomejordeinternet.net
hostinglmi.com
If they are, they're both DirectI resellers (aka Public Domain Registry due to their
rebranding):
Domain Name: LOMEJORDEINTERNET.NET
Registrar: DIRECT INFORMATION PVT LTD D/B/A PUBLICDOMAINREGISTRY.COM
Whois Server: whois.PublicDomainRegistry.com
Referral URL: http://www.PublicDomainRegistry.com
Domain Name: HOSTINGLMI.COM
Registrar: DIRECT INFORMATION PVT LTD D/B/A PUBLICDOMAINREGISTRY.COM
Whois Server: whois.PublicDomainRegistry.com
Referral URL: http://www.PublicDomainRegistry.com
If the WHOIS of the domain name in question indeed says it's on redemption, then
count roughly 35-36 days from its last updated date. If the date said Oct. 27, then
it'll be released approximately on Dec. 1.
Assuming we're talking about a .com domain name, of course.
