Today my Web hosting Windows Reseller account was suspended by EuroVPS without any notification or any reason (username: sepia).
My last payment was on 21-Jun-2006, 00:08.
The last charge was on 01-Nov-2006 and the status is overdue.

When i checked my CC information, the status is EXPIRED, I don't know why but i think because there is a mistake on expiration date (it should be 09/2008, and not 09/2006). I have informed this mistake to them.

I have opened help tickects 3 times and no reply at all until now.
From my experince usually we will be charged in advance not after using the service.

My question is how do you apply the payment to the customers ? monthly or every 4 months..? And can somebody there activate my account please..?
My credit card is clear and waiting, no problem with it.
And i have responsibility to the domains under my reseller accounts.
Please help.............

Sepia,

I am sorry to hear you have issues with this. However they should have responded quicker to your account, and there is now probably late fee's and re-connection fee's involved, even though the mistake seems to be on their part. I hope it all works out for you, but if it does not, perhaps you should look for other hosting providers.

Best Regards,

Shaun

It depends on the package you signed up with EuroVPS
Try to give them a call if it's urgent.

Please post the ticket history on this issue, all 4 tickets.

Please also state what the last payment we have on file is. (June 2006)

Support responded in 3 minutes to all 4 tickets.
Support waived reconnect fees and late fees.
Support reactivated account, even though account is in arrears.

now probably late fee's and
The proper spelling is 'fees', not 'fee's'

perhaps you should look for other hosting providers

Like JVS?

Aren't there rules about this type of behavior?

Question for you. If you noticed that you have not been billed for 3 or 4 months why did you not speak up? You are bashing EuroVPS when you know good an well your account was past due. So why bash? It's not EuroVPS's fualt that your account got audited and suspended.

Think about it. No payment = account suspended. EuroVPS has every right to charge you the late / reconnect fee of 125.00. You should be thankful that they did reenable your account for you while it's still in a mess.

Just my .2 cents.

Once you decide you like them, to avoid this in the future, you could always opt for an annual plan. It gives a discount that way too!

Well in all honesty, they wouldn't just suspend you for nothing, if your card was Expired on the account and they tried charging it, then well, they would suspend for non-payment.

Oh and the point it says Overdue for the payment directly shows that it was your fault and not theirs, if your card wasn't able to be charged, then its your problem, no point in flaming a company.

But honestly what is the point of moaning about non-payment on WHT, when there is nothing that WHT users can do, you should of just taken up the billing issue directly with EuroVPS rather than wasting time posting about it.

Just a final remark to the 3 tickets you opened with EuroVPS, multiple tickets usually causes confusion within the department and generally slows down responses.

It's best to open one ticket, mark it as High Priority, and specify everything that needs to be there, that way they can look, have all the information to hand and deal with your issue effectively.

I totally agree.

And another thing about EuroVPS is you can add to the ticket, close it yourself, or re-open it. There would be no need to open a new ticket on the same topic, only do that for a new support issue.

I've found it quite useful. :agree:
