Hi, does anyone else have a server with racklocation.com??
I'd like to make a list of us and maybe create a forum for us to discuss/share ideas, support, etc.....

I do, I do... (No problems at all so far.)
Lets see if RackLocation will put up a support forum on their own site, like some other companies have done. That would be most effective.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I'll send them an email to ask them. They could use phpBB which I've setup on my server several times and it's free!
Are you using webmin, or another cp??

Actually, I haven't had a chance to do much with it yet... I'm still learning my way around Webmin (do you know of a *good* guide?). Webmin is probably all I need, since very few of the clients on the system will be interested in control panels. And for my own stuff, I'll need to do some of it manually anyway to get the functionality I want. I'm a techie, but kinda new to being a Linux sysadmin.
So I ordered a couple hundred loonies worth of books today to get me started. :)

I think if you go to caldera site they have a good manual for webmin (since they purchased it recently).

They really should do this. A forum, and especially an open forum, shows a lot about a host's quality. (esp. if you can be confident that they answer with knowledge and honesty and don't just delete the stuff they don't like)
