Would it be possible to downgrade to 3GB of RAM? The 4th Gbyte seems like a waste. Any other OSes available?

I dont think FDC will allow downgrading RAMs to 3gb.
They will say this ==> "Rams should be in pairs"

But wait for the leeware to reply this..

I can also offer the same configuration in SUSE10.1 I have several dedicated for that flavor left.

Can be a waste for some but not others. Downgrading would result in slightly less than 3GB of ram.

#2. This is my equipment, I have my own floor space at CBOT. I have $$,$$$ worth of brand new equipment there and while I like the people that work there. I'm not real big on them touching my stuff. Reboots are okay, but anything else is off limits.

#3. As a result of the above arrangement I try to minimize the time I spend at CBOT. I remotely manage my infrastructure. Therefore, the configuration for several servers are set when I'm there so that I can minimize my trips to CBOT.
