Where can one find out more about this reseller plan? I didn't see a link provided in your post.

Thanks,

Hi Kim,
This is actually a limited offer that we're not selling on our site, just here. Our main url is in my profile, click the red-house icon at the bottom of the post. If you have any specific questions, you can reply here, pm, or email me.
Thanks

Peter,

Thank you for your reply.

I am currently "shopping around" to see what different reseller programs are offered. I do have a reseller account with one company, however, they have had continual problems over the last month or so, and the customer support has been about nil. I also came across a very abusive post (with foul language) here at WHT that was written by the owner of my hosting company, directed at one of their customers, and I decided that coupled with the current service problems, it would be wise to look elsewhere.

I am looking for a reseller account that is offers at least 1 gb of webspace, and a reasonable amount of bandwidth. Cost is a definite consideration. Ideally, I would like 2 gb of space, as that is what my current reseller plan offers. I prefer CPanel to Plesk (but can use either), and would like a user-friendly interface offered for admin tasks. I would like to have cgi script capabilities, preferably pre-installed ones such as formmail. Good customer support and reliable service is of the utmost importance.

I use my reseller account for a few domains at present, which are domains that I manage for the school where I teach, my church, and a local business, in addition to my own personal domains. I would like to have room to grow. In the future, I plan on adding several more domains, but these will be for sites that I design and maintain for customers. At the present time, I do not require that customers have access to the control panel for their site directly, as I do all the maintenance and updates myself. I may change this in the future, but for now, I would like to keep this practice as is. For now, the web design work that I do is on a small scale, but I'm hoping it will grow in the future.

I would like to know what your reseller plan offers, and would appreciate if you would e-mail that information to me, or post it here if preferable to you.

I did adjust my preferences here to add access to my e-mail address via the little e-mail icon under this post.

Thanks,
Kim

Barry,

Thank you for your concern, and for being so perceptive. Actually, I did catch that just after my post and took it up with Peter via e-mail. :)

Does the price stay the same each month ($10) or will it increase after the first month, and are there any other fee's which would be due on top of these payments?

Hi, the only other fees are mentioned in my posting. As long as you stay within the usage limits of the plan, your monthly billing will remain the same. If you need more resources, we can upgrade your plan at a reasonable cost. There are no hidden fees or gotchas. There is no setup fee.
Thanks for asking!

Hi
I am definatly interested, and will probably sign up on Sunday before 12:)

A few final questions before I sign up though, what is Fantastico, i am assuming this is a template for cpanel but I may be wrong? If it is a template, can you supply a screen shot for me to view.

Hi
Sorry for all the questions, but I have a few more...

I notice you have not got any notice of how many pop3 accounts I can setup, and how many subdomains etc.

Also, do all the accounts i setup have SSH access or just the main account?

Hi Barry,
Thanks for the reply.

For more info about Fantastico, see their website: FANTASTICO WEBSITE (http://cpanelthemes.com/fantastico.html)
It's not just a cpanel theme. Since hosting is such a crowded field, we decided that adding some extras like Fantastico would help us to stand out. It's a nice feature, and something you can pass along to your clients as well.

Yes, we take credit card payments, the options are available on our order form (http://sales.hostareus.com/order/) (we're using 2checkout for credit card processing). If you try us, and decide after a week or two that you don't want to continue, we will refund you. If a year from now, you've decided you want to move your company to your own server, or NOC, or you're going out of business, we'll work with you there too. Generally, it's easiest to cancel at the end of a billing period, but if you're in the middle of it or something we can pro-rate the last billing.

There's no set limit on pop3, but I don't want to say 'unlimited' because I'll get flamed here for that. Normally, someone isn't going to set up 3 million pop3 accounts, but please let us know if you will be needing an extraordinary number of pop3, MySQL, FTP or other accounts. Just be careful who you give SSH access to, and be sure you trust them. We do keep a close eye on our servers, but a fraudster can do some damage with SSH access. We can allow you the choice of who you do and do not allow access.

Where can I get a glimpse of our perl & php modules ?

Similarly, do you provide SSL for OpenSSL generated CRNs ?

cron - do you allow me to crontab jobs (small ones) ?

cpan - any charge for installing these modules (they are open source & tested)

Finally, I notice you're offering 2 IPS ... I'm assuming that multiple domains would be hosted at the same IP ... or do I need to spend a $1 per month for each ?

OH YEAH, one last REALLY important questions. So where EXACTLY do I go (as in URL) to sign-up?

Hi Dean,
Sorry for not answering all of your questions now, I'll have to consult with our sysadmin for the answers on some of them.

You need two different ip addresses for your nameservers. The first one normally ends up being the ip for your main account as well. You can use that one also if you have shared hosting accounts, not needing a unique ip. The second one can also be shared, or dedicated, as you see fit. I'd be happy to give more for free, but our noc charges us for them.

The link to our order form is posted earlier in this thread. We will be ending this special offer at midnight tonight. Anyone else wanting to order but can't do it before midnight tonight should contact us before then to confirm that you're interested and we'll send you a link you can use later.

ok i heard from my partner that you were looking for a demo account to check out well here is a link
http://demo:demo@64.191.7.102:2082

for perl and php modules. Not shure about perl if theres something like phpinfo for it but for php click this link http://www.hs5.com/phpinfo.php for perl the standard modules should be installed but i will look into finding out what is exactly.

for installing cpan modules we charge $15 one time fee basicaly for the work to install them.
