This is a great domain for soccer but especially rugby union with the Rugby Union World Cup held in Australia in 2003. The domain has a simple functioning site with affiliate links already earning money.

can people outside Australia purchase this domain?

very careful on this one. Australia has pretty stringent rules on domain names in essence you are supposed to have a business name registered with an ABN in order to have a name.
