Anyone else had problems with click chat sold? When you click on the link for it nothing happens. Anyways, any help is appreciated.

ps: it is at www.earhost.com/beta/support.php . If the mods consider this as advertising please remove.

I finally had to give up on clickchatsold until they offer a more reliable server. I love the program but I was finding the server dropping out too often and slowing my site down big time.

Hopefully they will offer some SLA's when they go to a pay service.

James,

Without me looking into that a lot, they upgraded to a new version of the code. When they did that, all of the old code didn't work on my site and the result ended up being a broken image that didn't work when you clicked it.

You might check out http://www.clickchatsold.com and see if you have the latest version of the code on your site so your support item will work.

Only thing I can see now is to make a new account with them and update the code on your site with the new username.

The best thing to do is to email their support staff along with your URL.

I used to use CCS until they switched to their new system that does not use Java.

Their new version has been absolutely horrible. If you choose not to accept cookies, or have your system on Ask before Accepting Cookies, you will receive endless popups that say "Would you like to chat?"

I go to ccs' website. The moment I go, I am greeted with two cookies, which I both accept. Even though I accepted the cookies, endless popups will start appearing. Close one and another pops up in 15 seconds. It's horrible.

I just wish CCS would use better JavaScript coding.
