I don't think people dislike the .ws extension, it's just that no one uses it... Therefore it isn't practical to register a domain with .ws.

Mainly because many people aren't used to it and will probably have trouble accessing your website.

I am not a fan of anything but .com's but why would there be trouble accessing as website with a .ws ? Are you saying because it is had to remember or is the domain extention a problem??
