I don't know if I should go back to everyone.net (expensive) or stick it out with NetMongol. I just signed up with the service and I'm already having problems with the server being down, for the last 4 hours. Can ANYONE give me their opinion on this service? Is this temporary; is it common, and if so, how common (i.e. every other day, week, etc.). This kind of sucks. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Well it's back up now; I really like this service and hope somebody can tell my something positive about the uptime. :bawling:

When I used them they did seem to have downtime once in a while and I never got any info about this - not even after I mailed them about it.

One of the reasons I stopped using them...

I heard of netmongol I think about a year ago, used to visit geekvillage.com(sortive went downhill), might try searching there

Well they've been up for a whole day now (that I know of) and it's run very smooth. If it stays like this, at least 98% of the time, I can live with that. The features and prices are simply unbeatable, or at least after days of searching. :)

I have a customer that has been using them for about 10 months.

Their service really isn't that bad for the price. However, I will say that they do seem to go down for a few minutes at least once a month. Apparantly the service isn't so bad that this customer is seeking to go anywhere else.

Please do, not only when they are down (heh somewhat of the common thing to do), but just a checkup in a month or two with a general overview would be helpful.

I know the owner is thinking about turning it into software instead as he can then focus on developing it instead. If it happens at least the downtime problem might be gone.

just to give my input about netmongol .. i have been using it for a good few months now.. while the email software is very good i have had a few down times and users complaining of not being able to log in .. and last week my own webmaster mail account was deleted with all mails ...
I contacted netmongol about this and got a quick reply saying that they had a hardrive failure which was the cause of the problem but i have still lost emails .. so i will be keeping a close eye on the service over then next month or 2 .. and have to say i would like to see a lot less down time otherwise i will be looking at other oprions
