I'm looking for a new reseller host. Have been with fuitadnet for the better part of 3 years now, and everyone has been saying they have gone downhill, but they still met my needs well enough and support was well enough. Well last week their cpanel24 box was hacked and every site defaced including all mine. They were unable to restore via backups either and are unable to say how someone got in.
I need a new, reliable reseller host.
I was getting 3gig space and 25 gigBW from them for $12.49 a month. Along with the usuall unlimited domans, databases, mailboxes, etc. I host mabye a dozen sites, none too terribly high traffic. Im looking for something in that range, mabye 4gigs of space instead of 3, but I am flexible. Around the same price as well, mabye a little more, or less. It needs to be reputable and reliable. Small outfit is fine as long as they are responsive. If you are good to me I'll be a customer for years. Taking reccomendations and offers. Cheers!
*EDIT* I forgot to say, it would be MUCH better if it could be a host that will move the cpanel accounts and data over for free. MUCH. Thanks everyone in advance for your advice and support.

How many domains do you actually need moved?

I think it must be the famous cpanel bug recently.
Your host did not update Cpanel on the server.
You should contact the host to see if they can offer free sites transfer and to check response time as well.

Your requirements are pretty simple, and I am sure you can find a host within that price range aswell. As I have noticed, most providers will move the sites off your current host to their server but may include a fee. You may have a harder time finding that, then a reliable provider. However, if you search WHT I am sure you can find some decent providers that will meet your needs once again.

Checkout www.budgetreseller.com they have good plans and excellent support. When I took account with them, they moved all my sites to the the new server. Again they have superb support to rely on.

Innohosting can do this for you pretty quickly. I signed up with them and they started right away. I always got a reply within minutes.
I talked to hostgator on live sales a few times, they seem to "busy" as I got the impression that I am wasting everyones time. I hate it when you try to talk on "live support" and have to wait for a few minutes to get a response "please email sales@...blah" I am to impatient for that.

All depends on how many staff are on support at one time.

Your specifications and budget are reasonable, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to find something good for that budget. You could try the shared hosting forums. 1 Thing I should point out though is that most companies will charge or take a long time to move 12 accounts it is certainly worth speaking with someone perhaps over live chat or sales email before ordering to make the process asquick and painless as possible.
Ideally find a company with sales email/livechat in the shared hosting section, talk to a rep privately and make sure he/she will personally do everything for you as you wait :)

VT6, I found a company (ServerTag) and posted a review in this area. Their team moves all my accounts free of charge and it wasn't a simple task I think because the Fuitadnet servers were not in good shape. So far I've been pleased.
Thanks for the input, more information is always better.
