Hi,

We've been using the Kayako software for the last year and it's just come up for renewal.

We only really use the knowledgebase and that's what we're looking to replace.

Any suggestions for a replacement knowledgebase script in PHP?

Ta!

http://www.phpmyfaq.de/ works pretty well.

http://www.phpmyfaq.de/ works pretty well.

That looks nice! We talk/argue about decoupling our faq-ticket system from time to time so this is a nice tip.

You could go for the leased version of SupportTrio by ActiveCampaign (http://www.activecampaign.com) which is quite nice too!

Hi,

I use activecampaign (for the minute) and thinking about going back to cerberus helpdesk with they add the browse knowledge base feature again.

I have been looking at this, http://kbpublisher.sourceforge.net/

Good luck,

A great one for a knowledge base is

http://www.pineappletechnologies.com/products/lore/

I've used it for a number of sites just as a CMS and its really nice, good solid knowledge base

I would give cerberus a miss for the time being and wait for their next stable version to come out as they have removed all the "useful" features and they are readding them in the next version. :)

If you only need the knowledge base try: http://kbpublisher.sourceforge.net/

The only reason I'm not using cerberus is because of the fact they've made the knoweldgebase feature into something useless now. I'm waiting for 3.3 stable where they re-introduce a working knowledgebase system.

What happened to their knowledge base system?

They removed the feature where you put the kb into categories. People were not happy about it. They're supposed to reimplement it in the next release.

I use SupportTrio too but if you are looking for a KB only, then I'd go for KBPublisher.

Hello,

I would suggest you to go with kayako software since that is most widely used support system.

The knowledge base that kayako provides there is hardly any support board that provides the same.

Hence go with Kayako Only.

Thank you.

I have found Lore to be very helpful and reasonably priced for a one time cost.
