Hello,

I need to redo a website for a friend of mine using the same basic information. I will be doing most the page content layout.

The site looks tacky and makes them look like a fly by night company. It doesn't portray that they offer the best quality product on the market. What can I do, any sugjestions?

I'm having a new template that is simple & clean with the logo done up. They want to be able to make changes and updates to content on the site. And they are not real computer savvy.

Is there a way for me to set that up for them to do, other than with a site builder program?

Thanks, Mike

The first thing that comes ot mind is a CMS. There are some pretty sharp looking packages out there. I'm a fan of MOD_x but I dig how much control I have with it. That being said, they wouldn't need to get too heavy into using the CMS. Simple content control would probably do it. And you can probably hack the CSS to the point where it would at least resemble something that looked better than the stock interface, using the new logo and such. Just an idea. I'm sure the other folks around here would be able to point you in different directions.
