Hi,
I need to find out which mail server is better for hosting a lot (about 10,000)
of SMTP/POP accounts.
SmarterMail 3.x or MailEnable 2.0 or some other mail server.
I've done some searches and it seems that SmarterMail is recommended by most.
Any input is appretiated.
Thanks in advance
Tan

This is better in the Hosting Software and Controlpanel Forums.

Have you tested Merak Icewarp? I found that it is one of the better Windows email software. Fast and simple to use and maintain.

For that volume my vote has to go to Smartermail. We have a corporate client that has close to that amount of accounts and they (or us) have never had a problem with it.
Good luck!

Definately Smartermail. We migrated to smartermail from Ipswitch's "Imail" in march and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Smartermail support is also very responsive IF you have any issue. Good luck!

What problems did you have with Ipswitch's "Imail"?

The forum isn't big enough for my reply...and I think changing the thread topic would be a no no. :)
