View Full Version : Reseller Without End user support
Fastian 10-20-2006, 10:31 AM Hi
Few days ago, I asked for Resellers with end user support. I got some replies and at the end I m still down to “ResellerZoom” & “Innohosting”
In this thread, I want to see what other options I can have. Actually, I thought a lot and it appears to me that my users will not have so many questions regarding “Hosting”, so even if I go for end user support, I have to reply those questions on my own. (Due to the nature of hosting I am going to introduce)
No, I want to know what other Resellers you will recommend me. (Without End user support)
My current requirements are
99.9% Uptime (Guaranteed)
5 GB space At least (I am to start with this space, but would go for more soon )
75 GB transfer
50 domains hosted (at least)
WHM/CPanel
Linux server (Overselling enable)
And all the usual stuff that you expect, like unlimited SQL, FTP, e-mail, nameserver etc.
And most importantly, the host should provide 24/7 Live chat support.
If possible, some billing & support software. (Most likely the will provide it)
RZ & Inno both gives similar package at $25/month. I don’t say I need all the above features for a price less that $10 but it should be comparable.
Personally I like the prices of JaguarPC & I think they are just perfect for me.
(10Gb/100Gb @ $19.95/month) But I don’t like their support. Too slow to respond & their Live chat always seems to be Offline.
Please give me your suggestions.
PremiumHost 10-20-2006, 11:17 AM Did you check Hostgator?
I think they have Live chat support.
Jedito 10-20-2006, 12:43 PM Many companies does offer what you need, did you have a narrowed list of the potential hosts?
Because you'll get a huge list of companies offering (more or less) what you want.

I don’t have a Narrowed list yet. I am still searching and that’s why I need your recommendations.
Hostgator is a great company but their prices are the same as off RZ. I am looking for a cheaper one right now.
If possible, something close to JaguearPc’s prices (10Gb/100Gb @ $19.95/month).

I don't think hostgator allow OVERSELLING
If I'm wrong, let me know.

Please wait for a HostGator operator to respond.
Welcome to HostGator Live Chat! You are now chatting with 'Chris A'
Chris A: Welcome to HostGator Live Chat, how may I assist you?
Me: Hi, do you allow over selling with your reseller plans?
Chris A: no sir
Me: ok np,
Me: bye
Fastian 10-22-2006, 10:59 AM I know about HostGator...
I started this thread to get some comparatively low price reseller hosts that do provide Online Chat to their resellers...
So far, i haven’t got any reply regarding this. So guys, please suggest me some host that fits this criteria. i.e. Online chat to reseller & Comparatively low price than RZ/HostGator.
Fastian 11-01-2006, 04:57 PM Ok guys
I am still unable to get a host of my dream. :(
I am not dreaming much, all I want is 5GB space with 50GB bandwidth with all standard hosting feature under $20/month.
Or
10GB/100GB under 30/month.
All with quality support and 99.99% guaranteed uptime.
Option to grow as I get more clients (VPS or Dedicated or perhaps more reseller accounts)
But, the host must provide Live chat support to reseller with any AIM or web based chat systems.
Can some one give me some help with this ?
BrettB 11-01-2006, 08:17 PM It's hard to believe that you are having a difficult time finding a host that fits most, if not all, of your needs. The key is finding a host that offers service and support to their customers at the right prices (while not dearly overselling degrading their service/support). You're requirements are not too high and there are plenty of hosts out there! You may just have to give it some time or some more looking to find the host that best fits you!
Good luck.
premium20 11-02-2006, 02:50 AM I believe Sharkspace/SJR Hosting does provide chat support. Check the forums for more information on the company before venturing ahead.

Its not that I can’t find a single host.
Currently I have 4 hosts in my list, but if one provides something other don’t. I am just having a hard time in deciding which option to go. Also I still have time to look around. Its not that I am going to start everything this week. So, I am asking you guys so that I can have more options with me.
@ premium20
Thanks for giving me the info. I am about to search them :)
edu4vision 11-03-2006, 11:54 AM I'm not so sure about Live Chat but check WindyCityWebSolutions.com
Ken is a dear friend of mine, and I have been using their service for about one year. They have phone support (last time I checked) and email manned 24/7.
Regarding overselling, you may have to do without it for about 3 months and then request it to be enabled for you. Anyway, just give them an email to enquire more... :)
