Well, I usually wouldnt post anything but I am pretty impressed with gearhost, they seem to really be getting things running smoothly.

Server
Address http://www.worthlessgaming.com

Status OK

Uptime 99.48%

For 33 days, 0 hours

Next Test 8 mins

33 days uptime is amazing well I think so at least for a shared server, all my other hosts coundn't even come close.

And the server hasn't slowed down a bit. I know it checks every 15min but still its pretty impressive because thats less than 15min of downtime if any.
:)

Glad to hear everything is going well with GearHost Billabong2k2. What monitoring software or service are you using, something like InternetSeer?

Easymonitor.com I bet.
InternetSeer's free service checks by hour.

yup easymointor.com :)

I just use it for my own info, so when users say the site was down I can verify it. I could careless about that money back crap. ;)

Same here. I also use EasyMonitor and I haven't experienced any downtime in over a month with GearHost. I just checked out of curiousity and the last downtime lasted ten minutes and was the middle of the night. Could have easily been a system upgrade. Keep up the good work GearHost.

You can also use the Network Status page on the site to kinda compare with what's going on, will help determine if the site was actually down or if it was scheduled maintenance which is also posted in the Customer Care section.

You know there's no hard feelings man :D

*widdling foot around in the sand*

FINE, so I check your site once in a while and was pissed when I couldn't get the best hosting deal around for $150/yr!

At some point (if I'm lucky) I'll need some more crazy features and you'll hear from me :D

I still have a craving to dinka round with more ColdFusion and SQL server, 'cause we don't use 'em where I work ...

I'm with www.gearhost.com too and love the uptime and
support, still getting my site together but better than AWH and ***** who I was with.

Keep moving forward GearHost, your doing good!

Why does ***** C-I-H-o-s-t get replaced with *'s when I type their name in here?

Either there are a bad host or they requested it; I think I read somewhere on here that it was the latter of the two.

Could it be that they are banned from being mentioned on this site?

Correct their name (c-i-host) has been banned. I don't know the specifics but I just remember their names coming up a lot from bad experiences and spamming issues if I remember right.
