Greeitngs. I was wondering if anyone had a quick resource/method to re-sizing a picture to a larger width and height without simply using the 'Freetransform' tool in Photoshop. In other words, I need to increase the size of a picture without it pixelating or loosing its quality! Thanks in advanced.

Only possible to a small degree. PS (or any graphics program) can only guess at the extra pixels and won't give great results in most cases, except for small increases. You might gain a little by increasing the bit depth (pixels) through the resize menu.

You can use one of the image resize plugins (www.thepluginsite.com/knowhow/enlargingplugins/index.htm), but don't expect too much - pixel based images (unlike the vector ones) will always loose quality when enlarged.

It does depend on how much you want to increase the size of the image...Try the Photoshop plugins but thats only of use for a small increase.... What size isthe image currently, does a larger one exist and just need retouching?
