Can anyone reccomend the best way to get money from the UK -> US other than credit card a decently fast way, that does not incur too many charges on either party?

PayPal I've heard would charge the UK customer a lot to send to the US, etc and so on.

Anyone have experience or ideas on this matter?

Wire transfers are pretty quick and inexpensive.

There's also Western Union.
Fastest is not the cheapest.
