Can someone please recommend me a good place to go for a win2k dedicated server. Also, what is the difference between win2k and nt hosting. Thanks.

Win2K is just the new WinNT, since I guess WinNT5 didn't sound as snazzy as Win2K. MavCorp 02-06-2001, 12:11 AM Try looking at the following: http://www.dn.net http://www.skynetweb.com http://www.maxim.net http://www.globaltap.com Hope those help :) Jason6792 02-06-2001, 12:22 AM Thanks for all the help, however all the links that you have sent don't have end user control panels. Do you know of some that do? MavCorp 02-06-2001, 12:40 AM If I remember correctly, http://www.communitech.net offer a dedicated server admin control panel for Win2000 servers. However, I do not know how good their services are. Jason6792 02-07-2001, 12:25 AM MavCorp, thanks for the help but sorry they don't offer a end user cp. Someone, please, recommend some place with a control panel for dedicated servers. jic 02-07-2001, 12:29 AM Windows2000 IS windows NT :) They just want to call it something different heh. James R. Fiber 02-07-2001, 08:55 PM It's actually NT5... shobraj 02-08-2001, 12:42 AM Originally posted by Jason6792 Can someone please recommend me a good place to go for a win2k dedicated server. No need to comment on difference between win2k and NT :-) Currently I am a reseller and soon going to have dedicated win2k server with full access and have my own web hosting company. The current company for this service on top of the list is http://M6.net. I have seen their control panel, not very impresive but quite reasonable. They informed that they are developing better control panel and ready to replace at no cost in near future. Also considerring http://www.skynetweb.com. Thanks MavCorp for giving 3 new names. I will try them before signing the contract. |
