Anyone tried to restore XTR OS to a RaQ4?

Although I have never tried the above procedure, I'm almost 100% certain that it wouldn't work because the two servers have different types of hardware and that would screw everything up. :(

I have done it once, the box takes the install, but it just sits there at booting after its done. I know XTRs take a while to boot but after letting it sit for about half an hour, it was obviouse it wasn't going to work. Hardware wise, the boxes themselves aren't that different (as in requirements anyway as long as its intel compatible) but the bios and the way the board is setup is probably what keeps it from working. That and the IDE channel for handeling its 4 hotswap drives is different I assume. I have already put our raq into production so I can't test it some more. It sure would be nice to get it work work though.
