It's ok for a basic link site. To make it special, you really need to put some original content and build from that.

BTW, the constant pop-ups really hurt the site. Get rid of it!

Get rid of the pop-up. Real annoying.

The site is okay, but 'boring'. I know I may sound harsh but what I mean is although you don't want it to be a 'Disney'page, add some colours and make the area aound the categories smaller.I think the logo could be more exciting. Download bannermakerpro at http://www.bannermakerpro.com and make an ass- kicking logo. Listen, keep up the spirit. I just think you need to make it more original. Look at http://www.directhit.com as an example. That's very original.

Okay...I've taken all the critiscm into consideration and updated my page...

Now I'm asking for all the "new" comments about the new design...Please keep in mind that I'm still adding content, I just want comments about the design of the site.

Here's a few quick points:
1) You definitely need a stronger logo
2) The banner at the top has too much "white space" around it
3) You need to make better use of your screen real estate on your home page (for most of the page you've got two long vertical columns, and nothing in the middle)
4) You've got the LiveHelper burried at the bottom (this might be what you intended however, if you're using it mainly to track visitors to your site)

Thank you for your tips....

1) I think I may have gotten lost in line when the big guy was handing out artistic ability...I've got none whatsoever. If anyone out there would be willing to create a banner for one of my many themes to my site, I'd be more than happy to exhange the service for a life time of advertising.

2) That banner is moving to the bottom of the page.

3) The middle section will soon be filled with news/announcements/etc, as soon as i build a visitor base....

4) My main reason for using LiveHelper is to test it out...If i like how it tracks my visitors then that's what i'll be using...

I just checked out your site again... *much* nicer logo.

I would take the top banners and rotate them to the right of your logo. Take the search, topics and put them right below the rotating banners.

For some reason to me it doesn't look right with that banner at the top. I guess its because it pushes the content down farther and a lot of space is around the banner.

I totally agree with you...

I'm not really too fond of those big banners anyways, so like i said before the banner will go to the bottom of the page(above the livehelper logo). This is harder to do than i thought so it's going to stay up at the top until probably tomorrow.

Akash,

Love the name by the way *smile*. I just emailed you. Let me know if you got it, and if I can help out.

Best Regards,
