Hello,

I am trying to confirm that I understand the fee structure of PayPal. Can anyone confirm this is corret?

1) A Premier paypal account can send money to a Personal paypal account, with no fee charged to the sender.

2) A Personal paypal account can receieve money from a Premier paypal account, with no fee charged to the receiver.

Is this correct?

Oh, I forgot to mention one case where that's not exactly correct. If the Premier account sends a credit card payment to the Personal account, then the Personal account holder has the following choices:

- Reject the payment and pay no fee
- Upgrade to a Premier or Business account, and pay a fee for that transaction and all subsequent payments received
- Accept the payment for a one-time fee, which is a higher fee than the standard Premier or Business account rate, but allows them to keep the Personal account and continue to receive bank and balance payments for free (I believe this is currently available; if not, it is coming soon). This feature will only allow the Personal account to accept 5 such card-funded payments within a 12-month period before an upgrade is required

Thanks paypalrb. I am planning to use the "paypal method" I explained in this post here:

Basically, I will "send" money from my US premier paypal account to my France personal paypal account. I just wanted to confirm that this is possible without paying additional fees besides the 2.5% exchange fee.

Thanks!
