I've been considering translating my site for some time now. Any ideas on how best to do so?
I have a few hundred pages on my site, so it would be too much to hand-translate all of them. I also have a fair number of pages dynamically generated.
Lastly, I don't want to use some free translator such as WorldLingo or Google. But I also want to avoid paying much for some "incredible" human translation.
Thanks!

I can get you a good deal on Korean translations :D ;) - The wife if Korean, heh... Seriously, what exactly do you want? I think the best way would be to ask on the net. Certainly there must be some high school or college students who are looking to pick up $50 in beer money.

:D hehe, well that is a thought, but my main concern is constant updating. I have a lot of news and reviews and stuff like that on my site, which I update almost daily. Unfortunately, I doubt those students would be willing to take this on as a full time job.
Maybe there's some script that will automatically translate pages for you??
Thanks:)

To date, there have been no 'sexy web host' love letters mailed, so I'm pretty sure I'm safe. I was going to ebay bid on that one girl, but that just wasn't one story I thought I'd want to repeat to the kids and to the parents. "Yeah, I bought her for a quarter million off ebay..."
Re: Scripts that autommatically translate things for you.. hmmm.. I posted this once on FWS, but I found it for you. I translated the following paragraph...
Be very careful using babelfish, it does a fair job at best. It can't tell how you are using words (multiple meaning words for example). A fun thing to do with babelfish is translate something to a different language then translate it *back* to the language you started in. Some interesting results...
And then babelfished things (quite fun really!)...
Example: This is the Spanish translation of the bold post I typed above:
Sea babelfish que usa muy cuidadoso, él hace un trabajo justo en el mejor de los casos. No puede decir cómo usted está utilizando palabras (el significado múltiple redacta por ejemplo). Una cosa de la diversión a hacer con el babelfish es traduce algo a un diverso lenguaje entonces lo traduce * posterior * al lenguaje que usted comenzó adentro. Algunos resultados interesantes...
and then I translated that back into English:
Be babelfish that uses very careful, he makes a right work in the best one of the cases. It cannot say how you are using words (the multiple meaning writes up for example). A thing of the diversion to do with babelfish is translates something to a diverse then language translates it * later * to the language that you began inside. Some interesting results...
Same thing from English to German and back again:
You are very careful using thing babelfish, it complete an appropriate work at best. She cannot explain, like you words uses (repeated meaning draws up for example). A fun thing, to with babelfish to do is translate something to another language translate it then * backlaterally * to the language, which you began inside. Some interesting results...
Korean:
Quite attention deep use babelfish, it it does and day when well it is fair iss u ten:00 bedspreads. It you are using a word (it sees for many-sidedness meaning word) to peel, as there is not a possibility of talking. The fun thing will do in the babelfish in different language * - the multi silence which it translate the that time when it will split it it translate * is after in the language which you start in inside. el E for fun iss result...
If you want to confuse your site visitors, be sure there is plenty of content about bedspreads, talking and silence, etc.
