View Full Version : What is the best I can have for 100$/month ? (only customers please)
Can you tell me what is the best host I can get for 100$ per month ? It means : great uptime, great bandwidth, great disk space, etc... (500MB, 25GB or more, PHP4, MySQL).
I have read this forum again and again and I've got good ideas about this, but what about you ?... :)
Thank you very much.
allan 06-16-2002, 01:22 PM Are you looking for shared, virtual private server, dedicated server, colo?
I don't think I can get a good dedicated or colo server for 100$ per month, so shared or maybe virtual private server ? :)
allan 06-16-2002, 01:34 PM Depends on who you ask. I just signed up for an account with Fluid Hosting, and so far they have been great. I haven't finished moving my content from my current host...but the server support has been really good :).
skylab 06-16-2002, 02:07 PM of course you can get a dedicated server for around $100 a month (sometimes less, sometimes slightly more).

www.serverrack.net
www.starhost.hm
www.eservers.biz
www.rackshack.net
www.serverbeach.com

www.tranxactglobal.com
there are many many more companies, which, i apologize, i don't have all memorized.....
viGeek 06-16-2002, 02:28 PM For shared virtual hosting i recommend.
venturesonline.com
hostrocket.com
Both are good choices :)

<<MOD NOTE: Please do NOT even *consider* using hosts who spam the forum, thank you>>
>> uuallan & skylab : :stickout

That's true ! So, it's not what I want Linus|host. Please stop.
Skylab : Webreseller is one of my favorite but I don't find a dedicated server for 100$ on their site. The first price I get is $190.00 here : http://www.webreseller.net/linux.htm or 149.95 here : http://www.webreseller.net
Am I wrong ? :)

I looked at Fluid Hosting for reseller plans. They are a bit high-priced and not quite enough gigs of B/W for me.
Hello,
I suggest you to look at a VPS with remarkablehosting.
You can read people's feedback at http://support.remarkablehosting.net
A VPS is very stable and their uptime has been 100% during last 2 months.
