RaQ4? Take a look at ebay....

Otherwise you may contact one of those colo-centers who took care of some hundreds RaQ's and want their RaQ3's out now..

Hi all.

I was looking for a RaQ in the UK for a long time. It's the UK mentality that you should sell things at a nearly new price, where as in the states people want rid of them and ask resonable prices.
The RaQ3s on eBay in the UK can go for £800. It's nuts, in the end I imported one from the states and paid about £500 inc shipping and everything.

Hope that helps, Rob.

Hi Rob,

Where did you import one from??? i.e which company was it RaQPort?

When I say import, I meant to mean I got one off eBay.

It's not quite as simple as just buying one off eBay, as I found out. You can get charged 20% (I think) import tax on top of what you already paid.

I got mine from delaware.net while they were upgrading. As I said though, eBay.com gets a lot of them on there, you just have to make sure the seller is happy to ship to the UK.

Cheers, Rob.

And how many transport costs did you pay for a RaQ from the US to the UK?

All in all the packaging and posting cost about $125.
Even with this cost added on, RaQs shipped from the states makes the best use of your money.

Cheers, Rob.

Hi, I just got an email from a guy I was going to buy a RaQ from off eBay but I lost out on the auction. He's happy to ship to the UK tho I'd email him to make sure.

The email is below. Please note this isn't a recomendation just passing on info, and I'd check prices with those on eBay.

hope it helps, Rob.

I have a Rac3 for sale now and will have a RAQ4 within 4-6 weeks for sale. Shipping to the UK is not a problem.
