linux-tech 10-11-2006, 07:50 AM In 4 years of looking for and configuring billing software I haven't found one that beats WHMCS, and I've tried a ton of them. WHMCS will give you everything you've requested, and it's pretty simple to setup and do.
If you're after "ease of use", you won't get any better than WHMCS. It's really a simple setup, and once you've set it up, packages are quite easy to maintain. The ONLY downfall (IMHO) is that it requires Ioncube loaders. These can be obtained for free @ www.ioncube.com , and they're easy installed as well, but most offer Zend versions of their products as well.
If you're after "support", WHMCS is quite easily the industry standard. Even though I've only seen 1 person reply to tickets (Matt), he's always replied in less than 1 business day. When I went to him with issues about php 5.1.6 compatability, the man had the issues resolved in < 24 hours, developing a custom piping script for myself, at n/c.
If you're after integration, well, it's simple to do. WHMCS uses the smarty templating system, and it's usually just as simple as changing the header and footer files, and voilla, you've got yourself a templated system. Usually, it takes me about an hour to "template" a theme for billing and my main site. This time, with WHMCS it took me about 5 minutes.
To be completely honest, I must say that there isn't much that doesn't impress me with WHMCS. Matt's been very helpful in providing any sort of assistance necessary, including providing integration code for my custom php stuff. He's been incredibly timely in responses compared to LPanel, Modernbill and AWBS, despite the fact that he's in the UK, and I'm in the US (decent time difference there;)). He's always ready to help out in any way possible, no matter how trivial.
WHMCS may be "new", and not as "mature" as some of the other scripts out there, but it's got it all where it counts.
xxkylexx 10-11-2006, 11:29 AM I've been using WHMCS to handle everything for me for about 6 months now. It's been great!
Lpal-Patrick 10-11-2006, 11:39 AM WHMCS is really easy to configure and it has all those features you mentioned.

Can you give me url to your frontend website which is linked with WHMCS, I just want to see how does the shopping cart look like, because on demo website, it doesnt look so professional. If i see a frontend in professional design, I will buy today itself.
Akash.Kava 10-11-2006, 07:13 PM Another problem is we dont have any php programmer and I know very little, we are windows and asp.net lovers, but unable to find any cart which satisfies my need and i am loosing business.

Due to self promotion rules, I can't. HOWEVER, I can say that they are both linked in my signature. Follow the first link in my sig, then go to the bottom of the page, and follow the "support" link.
