Does anyone know a photoshop tutorial that would teach me how to make a seal like this one (http://www.learndtpfast.com/SATISFACTION-GUARANTEED-LOGO.jpg). As well, I'm wondering what these are officially called, as they often print them on real paper certificates.

How about a Fireworks tutorial? You could recreate that seal in five or six steps and have it completely scalable in Fireworks. You have access?

If the default Photoshop seal shape(s) aren't what you're looking for then I'm sure you can find some custom shapes downloads that have what you need, and then it's just a matter of applying the gradient and text.

This took ~3 minutes to create, and as stated, it is fully scalable. I included a disclaimer with the graphic, and I damned well mean every word of it! This is purely meant for academic purposes. Break the image apart. Look at it layer by layer. Create your own original graphics based on the techniques. But under no circumstances may you use this for commercial or personal use.
