Currently we have 10,000mbits of network connectivity including Level3, Tiscali, Deutsche Telekom, and LINX, AMSIX, and LonAP. We have over 200 peering sessions set up on UK exchanges. We use the latest generation Cisco hardware to host some of the most bandwidth-intensive clients in the UK.

Hi there Ed,

I will order one, but can you do me a favour?
I will use Ensim control panel on the server and Ensim does not support CentOS 4.2
Is it possible to setup version 4.3?

Otherwise I will have to choose Fedore Core 4. While that might not sound as a problem, life cycles of Fedore releases are so short, which means Fedora Core 4 will be outdated soon.

If it is not possible, I will order with FC4 but as I said, it will be nice to have CentOS 4.3

Sure, it will be fine to accomodate this request - just put it in with the order under "Partitioning"

Hello Ed,

I have made the order and put a note about CentOS 4.3

I think I won't expect the server before Monday, as it's weekend.

Thanks for your helps..

Those are for WHT community.... First impressions..

- The e-mail traffic with the person who first contacted me (Elaine from the accounting dept.) was lightning fast. About 5 e-mails in around 15-20 minutes or so.. (Multiply 5 emails with 2, as she sent me replies also)

- I called the UK yesterday in a very early time in the morning and the phone was picked up right away. A mate, his name is Paul, listened to me about if it would be possible to setup the server with XFS file system and guided me to Dave about the issue in a short time.

- Although I guess Dave is the person who will set the server up -which means he probably always has some work to do- replied all my e-mails in very short times and we argued on setting up the server with Fedora Core 4, with XFS file system.

- I'm checking the speed of the test file from time to time within last 1 month or so, and it always has been downloaded with the highest possible speed within my DSL limit. Of course, that's not a guarantee for the bandwidth of my server, as if they put lots of different servers on one 100 Mbit switch, but I don't think so.

- The reason the server isn't setup yet is that both because we have e-mailed each other about the server setup and I said them not to hurry about setting up the server as I have some work to do until Thursday.

- Everything seems great so far, except they don't accept credit cards. Maybe that's something about trust, I will ask that again. Other than that, relations with the customer looks also dedicated, something which you may or may not find with every company. What I mean here is that it didn't take 8 hours to get a reply to an e-mail. That's important.
