Hi there. :wht:
I would like to ask which of the Plesk, CPanel or DirectAdmin is better?
Or which of them can do things the others cant. Or just the pros and cons of each.
Of course experienced users that have been using both of them, can enlighten us with their views...
Regards

I prefer Cpanel over Plesk (not by a whole lot, but still). I haven't used Directadmin in a few years but from what I recall, it was a very easy CP to use.

I have recently become a webhost, and I use cPanel. I have had experience with all 3 CP's, but I have always preferred cPanel because its easy to use and appealing to my customers.

I prefer DA for the simplicity, security, stability and look n' feel. :)

Hi there,
I used Plesk some time ago, years back. I don't quite like Plesk due to much limitation -- not able to expand the features with 3rd party software.
Later, I started using cPanel. Back then I have to admit that cPanel was really buggy. However, the interface and user-friendly panel was more appealing to me than Plesk, that is the reason why I tried it. Although until now cPanel is still buggy, but I'm glad that their customer service has improved. There are plenty of 3rd party software that you can install on cPanel/WHM, and our clients just love cPanel.
I do not have any experience in using Directadmin. However, I have a few industry friends who use them on their production server, the reason why DA is more appealing to them is due to the lower cost: cPanel external licence for our local server is not affordable. However, according to them, DA is quite stable. With installtron, I believe it is worth the price and should be persuasive to clients.
My votes go to cPanel and DA. Unfortunately, I did not have any sweet memory with Plesk.
Thanks.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences :)
I dont know yet how these 3 panels compare to each other in features and price...
For simplicity, though, I'd agree and give a vote to DA. But I am not completely aware about features it may be lacking...

Something to add: I don't know why cPanel is so much popular, is it due to pricing or wealth of features compared to the others?

is it due to wealth of features compared to the others?
As far as I know, yes. Highly probable based on experience unless others have catched up already or will be able to catch up soonest.
