Has anyone been able to recover a modernbill admin password if they've forgotten it? The forgot password feature does not work and, since my support has expired, I do not have access to the php script used to reset a lost admin password. What would be the best way to go about this? I tried manually changing the password through mysql, but that doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

ModernBill stores the password in your MySQL database encrypted so that wouldn't work.

Best chance would be to post in their forum as there are bound to be people with the same problem there.

I could give it a try for you, if you PM me, but no guarantees.

I'm aware its encrypted but if you encrypt a new password in the same manner than it should work. The problem should be resolved shortly given the help received from some members.

Do you have access to the MySQL database? When you changed the password there, did you place an MD5 password?

PM me if you need more help about this.

I get this error when trying to run the reloader:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: scf() in /home/USERNAME/public_html/order/include/config/config.main.php on line 23

In addition, I go to mysql and added the md5 password for the respective administrator. It didn't work. any ideas?

Now might be a good time to start trying to really remember what your pass was. Just by the way you don't have charcters "mb" in your user name besides the prefix?

I changed the prefix to ht (you can change it to whatever you wanted) and have been logging in as normal with it to the admin control panel. Guess i'm going to have to give them a call tomorrow.
