Hey guys, just want to get your opinion on LLL.org.uk names. Many are still available right now. I was wondering if this is something that may be worthwhile to invest in. Or do you think LLL.org.uk names will be worth something in the future? Thank for your input.

There's very little potential if any for LLL.org.uk as all you're doing is offering subdomains. There are already several projects online that offer subdomains, such as freedns.afraid.org and eu.org.

I didnt know that they were subdomains. So are .co.kr or .co.be subdomains? I am not sure about that. I thought they were valid domain extension for countries like Korea and Belgium.

i know that .org.uk is a tld, which would make LLL.org.uk a domain, and anything above that a subdomain

xeno439 - ignore Echelon he has mis-informed you.
.org.uk is as normal as .co.uk or .com - but not as popular which is why LLL.org.uk type domains are still available - its not worth registering them unless you can think up a very brandable one.
Echelon - .org.uk is a valid domain and something.org.uk is NOT a subdomain, I suggest you visit www.nominet.org.uk and read before offering advise.

Thanks UH-Matt. I had a suspicion that he was wrong. Yeah, I'm not gonna buy a bunch of qpz.org.uk's, but if I found one that seems reasonable I might pick it up.
