WOW that's amazing. All they did pretty much was take their images and drop the paint bucket on them. Not to mention the layout. Why do people feel ripping is good :confused: Someting has to be done about all these hosts copying eachother.

Terrible...The ripped site looks so amateurish.

What's amazing is that they do it and don't think (or don't care) that anyone will figure it out.

I don't know if what they have up now on oxygenhosts.com is there because someone e-mailed them about the rip and they are redesigning it, or if the rip will be back up, but if not, does anyone have a copy of the rip? Or a screenshot?

Just curious, why does anyone need to see a screenshot of the rip if the problem has been taken care of by the offending company... seems to me that will just fuel the fire. I can understand if they refuse to do anything about it, but give them a break, they may have purchased it in good faith. I also understand archiving a screenshot in case of issues, but posting it immediately? No. Why cause problems for a company without giving them a chance to rectify it?

DrChaos is right, how do we know they didnt buy it off someone thinking it was an original. But ripping is bad :P

I highly doubt that they didn't know their site looked exactly like gearhost because gearhost is quite known, they had to of known it was ripped.

Actually vibehosts it was EXACTLY like our website just without the header. Same everything just blue and all of our graphics were blue too. I'll post screen shots later if wanted.

I wish I had the their front page on this computer but it's at the office. The frontpage REALLY shows the close relationship. It had all of our graphics, even our 30 day money back guarantee and "Want some FREE web hosting?" graphic as well as our plan graphics and buttons. I would like to say that even though our site was ripped oxygenhosts took effort to take down the site quickly, as far as I can tell. Again, I'm not justifying anything but a reputation has already been set, hopefully this can be straightened out but then again don't beat this subject to death.

If you really want to clear this situation up I would post more details on what happened rather than "We didn't know" to WHT. Remember WHT users are not the friendliest people around, just kidd'n with you guys :D.

I'm not trying to cause problems for the company. I just would like to see what the site looked like (how similar, etc), since I was not able to before it was taken down. I think it's wonderful that they took it down, I just wanted to have a peek before they did, heh.
