Hello all,

SitePlate just opened it's doors to the public! It provides an easy way to purchase and download web site templates. Right now there are three basic templates targeted at the budget-concious. Each one is only $10 non-exclusive ($40 for an exclusive). To see the templates just go to http://www.siteplate.com/ and click on the "View All" button. The ordering system isn't yet active, so to purchase one just email or PM me (the ordering system should come online in the next few days).

If you want a color scheme unlike one of the ones available, just let me know. It's a no-brainer for me to create new ones.

Anyway, take a look around - I plan on adding many new templates in the near future. Attached are some quick previews of some templates I'm working on...

Enjoy!

Dave

Im very interested in your designs.

Do you have a larger screendump of the bottom image attached to the file above just so i can see it in a little more detail.

What happens if 5 people buy a non exclusive version and then someone wants to buy the same thing but be exclusive?

Good point!

I was considering ordering one to see what its like, but not that i think about it he could easily sell it exclusively after i have bought it non-exclusively then the buyer could accuse me of copying his design as he paid for it exclusively.

Sounds like you should either change your price plans or reword your site.

I thought there might be some confusion as to the exclusive/non-exclusive thing. Once someone orders a non-exclusive template, it will not be offered on an exclusive basis (since obviously someone already has use of it). This means that once you get one of the templates exclusivly (and this means you get all the different "styles") - no one else can buy that template. This will all be automated once I finish the order system code. Once a template is bought exclusivly, the template will dissappear from the browse screens. On the other hand, once a template is bought non-exclusivly, the exclusive buy button will disappear. Does that make it clearer?

I'll post a larger SS of the bottom preview soon. I'll probably get it on the site this weekend.
