I'm currently using Network Solutions' DNS manager, and I'm confused by the other aliases they've automatically put under my domain. Here is a small sampling:

www X.X.X.X

@ (None) X.X.X.X

* (All Others) X.X.X.X

*.aircastpr.com. .domain.net 205.178.189.131
Under construction Page
*.ctradiology.com. .domain.net 205.178.145.217
Network Solutions Hosting
*.hpmodulerepair.com. .domain.net 205.178.145.233
Network Solutions Hosting
*.idgrouppr.com. .domain.net 205.178.145.217
Network Solutions Hosting
*.lamotheconsulting.com. .domain.net 205.178.145.65
Network Solutions Hosting
*.offices.org. .domain.net 205.178.145.65
Network Solutions Hosting
*.ortopediapr.com. .domain.net 205.178.145.217
Network Solutions Hosting
*.raleighrealestate.com. .domain.net 205.178.152.8
Network Solutions Hosting
*.relayinc.net. .domain.net 205.178.145.65
Network Solutions Hosting
*.rkab.net. .domain.net 205.178.145.65
Network Solutions Hosting

The list goes on.

So, what are these sites? I can't seem to delete them from the list. Is this normal?

Can you give us your raw zone file? What you pasted is meaningless, at least for me (and I know a thing or two about how zonefile must look).

They seem to have mysteriously disappeared... I'll assume that it was just a minor lag in their application or maybe as part of their "Under Construction" parking DNS, they relay some traffic to these random sites. However, now that my new DNS information has propagated through, everything seems to be fine. Sorry about the false alarm.

As a side note, I don't think Network Solutions provides the raw zone file or any raw DNS configuration file when customers use its DNS Manager. All of the work, I guess, is meant to be done through their web application.
