When comparing dedicated server solutions, I came up with few options. However, www.serveroutsource.net was one of them. They have very good prices for the servers they provide. They come with Plesk and 400 gigs of bandwith. The thing I don't understand is that it states that each server comes with Plesk - 30 Domains. However, their addons/upgrades page shows that there is only an upgrade from 300 Domains to Unlimited Domains. Could one of these be a typo, most likely the one on the server listing page?? Anyone have servers at ServerOutSource.net??? Just trying to gather info about these dedicated hosting places.

<<<One-Time setup fee of $20.00
<<<$1.00/Month each IP

That is crazy! For each IP address! Errm.. "Can I have 8 IP addresses, please?" Sure, that will be $168 USD.

Their support fees are prety price. If you know what you are doing and are not going to need technical support, then they may be fine. $75 for an OS restore! Back a few years ago when playing with several OS's, Catalog.com did about 10+ OS restores.

the $69 server comes with 4 usable IPs. which, is plenty for me, and probably large amount of other people who need a simple dedicated box that isn't housing mission critical sites.

and i realize it's unmanaged, but yeah, still an amazingly nice deal.

and, their upgrades are a little out there, but, i see their need to make a profit come in somewhere.

now, if they allowed you to send IN a stick of RAM or a harddrive, and charge you a one time fee for installation, that would be nice.

If I'm not mistaking, the $20 one-time setup fee is for a set of IP addresses. It's like saying the more IP addresses you purchase at once, the cheaper. If this is the case, then their IP addresses cost a lot less than any other company's prices.

Does anyone know if ServerOutSource.net gives 30 or 300 Plesk domain licenses on their dedicated servers?

email serveroutsource and ask. i've been emailing them back and forth since yesterday asking about this bargain box they have. they seem very responsive to my emails, which is nice.

ARETNA,

I'll probably get yelled out, but I just wanted to clearfly something.

$1.00/IP/Month
$20.00 One-time setup per block.

So for 8 IP's, it would be $8.00/Month, with a $20.00 one-time setup.

Total - US$28.00

Just curious how you came up with US$168.00??
