Thought I might have found some other discussions about this, but wasn't having a lot of luck.

I'm looking for some options for a new website ... looking to base it mainly on picture ratings and discussion. Something that allows members to upload pictures and other will rate the pictures and comment on this if they so desire.

I've found a couple so far:

K-Rate

Also, there is a Fantastico program but the name eludes me at the moment.

Anyone else have some favorite picture content management packages they would like to mention??

I don't have much personal experience about that, but I heard some nice words about Joomla extensions.

Really impressed with the scripts - can they be edited though or should I say improved upon? - Like allowing users to add songs to their profiles and so on

Yeah, they're just php scripts so any php coder will be able to amend them.
